Yahoo! Indonesia mewawancarai Eka Frestya di kantor National Traffic Management Center Kepolisian Republik Indonesia, Jl MT Haryono, Jakarta Timur, beberapa waktu lalu. Ia bercerita dari alasannya menjadi polisi hingga tipe cowok impiannya.
Yahoo! Indonesia (Y!): Kenapa Anda mau menjadi polisi?
Eka Frestya: Jadi polisi itu seru. Ada banyak tantangan, dan pekerjaannya pun nggak monoton. Bisa ke sana ke sini juga.
Y!: Apa pengalaman yang paling seru selama menjadi polisi?
Eka: Menangkap penjahat (tersenyum).
Y!: Wow! Bisa cerita seperti apa ketika itu?
Eka: Waktu itu saya bertugas di Kepolisian Resor Bandara Soekarno-Hatta. Kami memang bekerjasama dengan Bea Cukai. Ada laporan, ada TO (Target Operasi—red), lalu kita selidiki. Kemudian didapati ada barang yang dicurigai sebagai narkotika. Lalu kita tangkap saat itu.
Y!: Sebelum di NTMC, Anda sudah pernah bertugas di mana saja?
Eka: Setelah dilantik tahun 2006, saya bertugas di Polda Metro Jaya. Di Direktorat Samapta untuk patroli kendaraan roda empat. Lalu di Polres Bandara, pertama saya dinas di pospol terminal 3 menangani masalah TKI. Kemudian pindah ke pariwisata, pindah lagi ke protokol pejabat Polri dan bagian narkoba. Barulah ke Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya.
Y!: Kalau boleh memilih, ingin ditugaskan di kesatuan mana lagi selain lalu lintas?
Eka: Kalau disuruh memilih yah, maunya sih di Krimsus (Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Khusus—menangani kejahatan ekonomi dan cyber) atau mau di (Direktorat) Narkoba.
Y!: Kenapa Anda memilih kesatuan yang terkesan penuh dengan kekerasan?
Eka: Saya suka tantangan. Saya juga nggak takut, karena mental kita kan sudah dilatih. Saya memang menikmati bertugas di lapangan.
Y!: Semenjak menjadi presenter di Metro TV, merasa menjadi pusat perhatian ketika jalan di tempat umum, di mal misalnya?
Eka: Kalau saya nggak ya. Karena kalau jalan-jalan kan nggak pakai seragam. Mungkin masyarakat nggak ngeuh.
Y!: Pacar bagaimana menanggapi Anda menjadi presenter TV?
Eka: Saya belum punya pacar lhooo (tertawa).
Y!: Oh, jadi belum punya pacar. Tapi ada yang mendekati, dong?
Eka: Kalau yang PDKT ada sih. Lihat aja, kalau nggak sreg yah kita hanya berteman saja. Nggak ada salahnya kan berteman dulu.
Y!: Cowok impian Briptu Eka yang seperti apa sih?
Eka: Cowok yang baik dan yang bertanggung jawab.
Y!: Hobinya apa jika sedang tidak bertugas?
Eka: Saya senang naik gunung, main jestki juga. Saya biasanya seminggu sekali main jetski.
Y!: Kalau tidak menjadi polisi, ingin memilih profesi apa?
Eka: Saya mau jadi model (tertawa)!
Y!: Sudah ada yang menawarkan untuk menjadi model, main sinetron atau MC?
Eka: Belum ada sih. Kalau ada pun, untuk menunjang tugas nggak apa-apa. Tapi kalau di luar dinas harus izin dengan pimpinan.
